		Age 3, 1939 - on a radio talent show, Tommy won his very FIRST award! The show was sponsored by a supermarket called "6-Pick-a-Nickle" in Denver, Colorado. Tommy did this singing performance in his shiny new army costume, shown below, now encased in the (newly refurbished) "Movie Memorabilia Room" at his home.

		The "6-Pick-a-Nickle Club" was named for the supermarket of the same name. Although it was merely a pin award, not a trophy, it still holds a spot near and dear to Tommy's heart.
		...and it was off and running from there!
