Age 13, 1949 - This was the second movie Tommy made with William Holden - the first one was Sunset Boulevard. But it was the only movie where Tommy "hit the cutting room floor".

In Sunset Boulevard, Tommy and William Holden were dead but talking to each other in the morgue regarding how they died. However, in this movie, and in this scene, Tommy was very much alive and running away from home.
William Holden convinced Tommy to go home to his rich father, saving the day. As a result, he was given a reward for helped keep the family together with his good deed. It was a happy ending for everyone!
